I'm streaming the first card in my tarot-deck with the projectname "Harmony Deck".
[link]This Tarot deck will be sold by me and my friend Jan (who writes the instructionbook) at Galacon in August! I will also be in the panel for Legends of Equestria, so if you want to meet me, you should attend!
Half of the earnings will be donated to charity, what charity haven't been decided yet
Disclaimer; I know there is several others doing tarotdecks in this fandom, and several will have same objects for the cards. I do not mean to copy if that is the case, that would be because I find the description of the card to be the same design they have decided for.
If you want to donate to Galacon

I'll admit, there's nothing wrong with tarot in and of itself. It's when people use them to predict "the future" that pisses me off. But I hear the game is fun.
Sorry, I blew up for a minute there. I'm normal now, but I just have to say this. No one can predict the future. It's not possible. Or at least there's no evidence it's ever actually been done, or that it's anything more than deception.
What tarot card readers are actually doing is the ancient art of cold reading, where they say things that are general enough to make you think it's about you or anyone else in the room, or subtly drill you for information without you realizing it, therefore making you believe they got it from somewhere else, like the dead, or a deck of cards.
It's trickery.
Penn and Teller did a Bullshit episode on Tarot. [link]
True, "it" can give you advice, but it's not the cards. It's just you. Like this girl who asked the dolphins for career advice and "the dolphins" gave her the advice she didn't want, so she picked the other option. [link]
Also, fortune cookies don't work either.
No disrespect.
I don't think you're looking at the big picture. If you see someone claiming to talk to the dead, stop and think about it for a second. You realize what they are doing? Probably not if you've never lost someone. They are causing some real harm. Tarnishing those people's memories. It's sad, and it should piss everyone off.
Also, I notice you used the word belief. Belief is reserved for religion, not scepticism. I don't believe anything. I accept things as real based purely on evidence. Show me proof that one can talk to the dead or predict the future, and I'll accept it as fact. But until then, I will fight it tooth and nail, because these fucks are taking people for a ride, and in some cases ruining their lives. It's dangerous bullshit.
And I have lost some people (Writing "Probably not if..." is incredibly rude because that is making the assumption instead of being an honest question); My grandparents, other relatives, by classmate that 6 hours before her heart stopped after being hit by a car flat out said to me that she wasn't gonna survive to pass the english grammar test, my best friend... the list goes on.
You don't have to fight tooth and nail on my profile about ghosts and paranormal activity, because I don't want that. Even though you don't believe in this stuff doesn't mean that you don't have to show respect. I don't have to go and show you proof to you, we can just accept that we believe different and respect that on both sides
I didn't say that it could predict the future, that is for anyone to believe what they want to believe, I said that there is some good advice in the cards that can help now and then. Not that it would help specificly about the problem you're asking about. More like one of the cards says that the most important thing in the world is not to work yourself to death just to earn money, but that you should aspire to maybe be happy with the life you have. If you get that card, and that advice, you might find that it's actually fitting with some issues, or will remember those words in the future.
That was the ENTIRE REASON why I said it was like advanced fortune cookies, or eight-balls, or whatever that you might think can help you with an issue.
